  • Part-time degrees other than the PhD

  • Non-degree courses


Application Timeline

There are two application rounds:

Round 1 (for US citizens resident in the USA):

  • Applications open: September 4, 2023

  • Application deadline: October 11, 2023

  • Departmental ranking: October 16 - November 16, 2023

  • Applicants notified: December 11, 2023

  • Review and selection: January 26-27, 2024

  • Scholarships offered: February 2, 2024

  • Scholarships accepted: Within 72 hours


Round 2 (for all other eligible applicants):

  • Applications open: September 4, 2023

  • Application deadline: December 5, 2023, or January 4, 2024, depending on the course

  • Departmental ranking: December - February

  • Applicants notified: March 11, 2024

  • Review and selection: March 25-26, 2024

  • Scholarships offered: March 29, 2024

  • Scholarships accepted: Within 72 hours


Required Application Documents

  • Academic Transcripts: From all previous universities attended.

  • Letters of Recommendation (LORs): At least one academic reference, possibly a Gates Cambridge-specific reference.

  • CV/Resume: Highlighting your academic and extracurricular achievements.

  • GRE Scores: If required for your intended program.

  • Proof of English Proficiency: IELTS, TOEFL, or other accepted test scores.
