These scholarships can provide approximately 1400 euros per month( which includes 100 euros for research work) for PhD students. In contrast, 750 euros to Undergraduates and Postgraduate students.


Eligibility criterion: proof of German language proficiency test and a solid academic record should be there.


3. DeutschlandStipendium National Scholarship Programme: The DeutschlandStipendium Scholarship is a public-private collaboration that provides finance to academically bright students. This scholarship can be availed by graduates or postgraduates, with a lump-sum amount of 300 euros per month.


Eligibility criteria: a proficiency certificate in either English or German language, a decent academic record, and studying or commencing studies in UG or PG level at any German University is the essential requirement before applying.


4. The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarship: The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship option provided to students from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.

This scholarship provides a complete fee waiver and a monthly stipend of 830 euros for undergrad and 850 euros for postgrads.


Eligibility criteria: outstanding academics and should be admitted to any German-certified University.

The application deadline for this scholarship, fall of 2023, is November 30, 2023.


5. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship: The Konrad Adenauer Scholarship is for students who want to complete their master's and doctoral degrees and research work in Germany. This opportunity provides a monthly stipend of 850 euros for masters and 1200 euros for Ph.D. courses with additional health insurance coverage.


Eligibility criteria: The essential requirement is having a German proficiency of a minimum of B-2 level, a graduate degree, and an age restriction of not older than 30 years if you want to apply for this scholarship.


6. Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Scholarship: The Rosa Luxemburg Scholarship awards financial grants to undergraduate and doctoral students. A monthly contribution of 1350 euros for PhD students and a mobility allowance of 100 euros, accumulated for students.

Eligibility criteria: demonstrate a high level of social engagement and should have reasonable control over the English language.

The applications for this will start in mid-February 2024, and the deadline will be April 1, 2024.


7. Friedrich Naumann Foundation Scholarship: The Friedrich Naumann Scholarship is for students pursuing a Master's and PhD(except for a PhD in medicine). This scholarship provides financial aid of up to 880 euros for 24 months and additional funding for doctoral projects.

Eligibility criteria: Students must have multidisciplinary interests and excellent academic record.
