Education System in Russia

Cost of Living and Tuition Fees

One of the significant advantages of studying in Russia is the affordability. Tuition fees vary depending on the university and program but are generally lower than in many Western countries. On average:

  • Bachelor’s/Specialist Programs: approximately $3,430 - $3,715per year

  • Master’s Programs: $ 3,715-4,000 per year. The minimal cost is $ 2,100 per year.

  • Ph.D. Programs: approximately $1,500 - $4,000 per year
     

The cost of living is also reasonable. Monthly expenses, including accommodation, food, transportation, and entertainment, range from $300 to $700, depending on the city and lifestyle.
 

To cut this cost even further, a student can apply for scholarships or government funding simply through competitive selection. The first competitive stage will take place in your country itself. Many universities provide scholarships based on academic merit or financial need.
